A range you can actually search

Thousands of products from different manufacturers only make a usable article master once the range can be described. Generic attributes hold light source, resolution, connector or output on the article, with no programming needed.

After that, the question of a particular projector is no longer a search through a catalogue but a query over the attributes.

Supplier article data can be imported from CSV or Excel and then extended with your own images, descriptions and prices. Accessories hang on the article and can be offered directly with the quotation.

If you want customers to search for themselves, you release articles to a connected web shop. Office and field staff keep working in the same stock.

Procuring and installing

The quotation becomes the order, and from it the requirement. What is in stock gets used, what is missing is requested from the supplier and ordered. Several supply sources per article with purchase price, minimum quantity and lead time are available to choose from. Drop shipments are also possible, where your supplier delivers straight to the end customer.

Goods receipt books the delivery onto stock. Quantity articles raise the available stock, while for serialised devices it is additionally recorded which specific unit arrived.

In Jobtura installation is a job type of its own. Date, staff, vehicles and the intended devices hang on it, and the bar chart shows whether everything is free on the same day.

On site, time is booked, work steps are recorded, photos are taken and notes are added. What was actually installed is then on the job and not only in the quotation.

What carries on at the device afterwards

For serialised products it stays traceable which device was bought when, received and assigned to which installation. Individual tracking by serial number or barcode carries this chain over years.

For installed devices, inspection templates with characteristics, limits and interval can be stored. Inspection deadlines are monitored rather than remembered, and due devices appear in the overview before the deadline passes.

When maintenance is due, a job arises from it again. Service is likewise a job type of its own, fault and fault description are recorded on the device, and the work carried out is documented and invoiced.

In parallel your own inventory management carries on. Stock and movements stay traceable, the stocktake counts against them with count sheet and barcode, and the value of the warehouse can be evaluated as at the reporting date.
