Jobtura · when standard is not enough

Standard software is already there. It just does not know your company.

Eighty to ninety per cent works much the same everywhere. Customers, articles, quotations, invoices. It is the last few per cent that get interesting, because that is often where what sets you apart sits.

You set up your account yourself – registration opens in a new tab and needs a moment the first time. If you would rather know first whether we are a match, send us an enquiry, no obligation.

Your day

What changes in your day

Three everyday steps that cost you time today, and how they run with Jobtura:

One system instead of five

Everything your business really needs

Four questions in this order, and the most expensive one comes last.

Approval instead of a shout

Permissions reach down to field level through release groups. Plus number ranges, mandatory fields and automations that enforce a process.

Your own print templates

How your documents look is your decision, per document type. An individual document is usually a template and not a project.

Import and export

Article data comes in as CSV or from Excel, with column mapping, preview and an error file. For wholesalers, Datanorm synchronisation.

Free attributes instead of spreadsheets

Whatever your company records on top, you add to customer, article and job without any programming.

In detail

Four questions, in this order

Can Jobtura already do it?

Very different processes come together on the same platform: inventory management, rental, projects, resource and staff deployment, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, service and maintenance, web shop, billing and reporting.

The first question is therefore not what should be built but whether it already exists. In Jobtura the job is the central working document, and much of what sounds like a peculiarity is a job type that is already there.

Perhaps your company has a process that grew over years. Perhaps your largest customer expects data exchange in a particular format. Perhaps a machine runs on a system of its own. Perhaps there is an industry standard that ordinary systems do not know.

We then look at the problem first and not at the solution you arrive with. That is not mistrust, it usually saves money.

Can it be configured?

A lot of it is a question of settings rather than development. Free attributes extend customer, article and job with whatever your company wants to record on top, with no programming needed.

Permissions reach down to field level and run through release groups. On top of that come rules for number ranges, mandatory fields and automations, so an approval process can be mapped without being built.

Pricing logic is a setting too. The starting point is the article price, on which terms per customer and customer group, tiers, discounts and day factors take effect. An unusual pricing rule is therefore rarely a development job.

And how your documents look is your decision, through print templates per document type. An individual document is therefore usually a template and not a project.

Is a connection enough, and does it fit at all?

That leaves data exchange, and much of it goes through import and export. Article data comes in as CSV or from Excel, with column mapping, preview and an error file, and goes out through export templates down to line item level. For matching articles with wholesalers there is Datanorm synchronisation.

Where our own feature inventory does not answer the question, we say so plainly: it covers the interface, not the services behind it. Whether a particular connection runs is something we answer by looking into the system, not by guessing.

And then one question remains that we put to ourselves: does the requirement fit into the Jobtura world? Anyone organising people, material, equipment, vehicles, warehouses, projects, manufacturing, logistics or service is in the right place with us. We do not want to build a kit in which every special idea lives on as a foreign body.

Sometimes only one answer is left in the end: we have to build this. That is when it gets interesting, because good custom development does not just solve one special wish. It adds a capability to the platform that a whole industry can benefit from. That is something we genuinely enjoy.

How it works

Four questions before anyone writes code

Entered once, usable everywhere. No double entry.

Problemcan Jobtura already do it
Settingcan it be configured
Connectionis import and export enough
Reviewdoes it even fit
Developmentthen it gets built
Standardfor everyone, not for one

And it carries on from there on the same job: quotes can be signed digitally, deposit, interim and final invoices follow from it, incoming payments and reminders hang on it, and at the end the data goes to the accounts.

What sets this apart from invoicing tools

Equipment involved? Your warehouse keeps up.

Where spreadsheets stop, Jobtura carries on: stock levels, picking and scanning are built in. No extra tool needed.

Picking

Packing lists straight from the order. Tick off line by line, so nothing is forgotten and nothing is packed twice.

Warehouse screens

A live overview in the warehouse: which orders are due, what is packed, what is missing, on a screen right there.

Scan instead of search

Barcode and QR scanning by smartphone: book equipment, record withdrawals, check returns, in seconds.

Enquire, no obligation

Five quick questions, an answer straight away – then we both know whether this is a match.

Proven in daily use

Jobtura is not theory software. It has been in use for years with rental businesses, event technicians and service providers across Germany, built with the people who work with it every day.

At your end

The last ten per cent.

Eighty per cent is the same everywhere. What makes your company yours is in the rest.
